# Swap

By default, all swaps on Catex are routed through the most efficient liquidity sources to ensure optimal pricing and minimal slippage. This includes:

* Classic Liquidity Pools – Full-range pools for a traditional DEX experience.
* Concentrated Liquidity Pools – Targeted liquidity ranges for improved capital efficiency.
* DEX Aggregators – External liquidity sources may be utilized when they offer better execution.

This automated system ensures that users receive the best possible trade outcome without requiring manual adjustments.

{% hint style="info" %}
You can customize your swap settings by clicking the **‘cog’ icon** on the swap page. This allows you to manually enable or disable specific **liquidity sources** or **swap aggregators**, giving you greater control over your trade execution.
